UK plan, world traveller — covered both ways
The Hadeda Plans are UK-only — no roaming. For travel data (including trips back to SA), use our sister brand EPICeSIM, which has South Africa-specific eSIMs and 190+ countries covered. As a 20GB Plan subscriber you get our top-rate 30% discount on EPICeSIM travel eSIMs for as long as your subscription is active.
Best for
Power users — people who work from mobile data, travel for work within the UK, run a mobile hotspot for a laptop or tablet, or stream video and music heavily. Also a strong fit for SA-diaspora professionals who watch Springbok rugby on tour, follow Proteas cricket through multi-day Test matches, and run a side-business or freelance laptop from mobile data when the home Wi-Fi is unreliable.
Frequently asked questions
- Is 20GB enough for me, or should I look at 50GB?
- 20GB is comfortable for heavy single-person use including streaming and hotspotting. If your mobile data also runs tablets, kids’ devices on the go, or heavy streaming through the day, the 50GB Plan at £13.99 is the next step — £2 more per month for 2.5× the data, with the same 30% off EPICeSIM and unlimited UK calls/texts.
- Which network does Hadeda Mobile use?
- Hadeda runs on Vodafone UK. Vodafone UK and Three UK merged in May 2025 to form VodafoneThree, which has announced £11 billion of network investment over 10 years.
- Can I tether a laptop or tablet from this plan?
- Yes. Hotspot use from your phone is included in the 20GB allowance with no separate cap or surcharge.
- Can I use my Hadeda eSIM or SIM in a 5G router or MiFi device?
- No. Hadeda Mobile eSIMs and SIMs are licensed for use in a phone — one device, one customer. Use in dedicated routers, MiFi devices, or other non-phone hardware is not permitted under our Acceptable Use Policy. Mobile hotspot from your phone (tethering to a laptop or tablet) is fully supported and included in your data allowance.
- eSIM or physical SIM?
- eSIM activation is typically completed in a few minutes via QR code (timing depends on your handset). A physical nano-SIM is posted to your UK address and is the right choice for older phones, dual-SIM setups using both physical slots, or anyone who prefers a card.
- What’s Hadeda Caller, and how is it different from WhatsApp?
- Hadeda Caller is a calling app that can dial any South African phone number — mobiles, landlines, business lines, banks, hospitals, schools, hotels, restaurants. The person you call sees a South African caller ID, so it looks like a local call. Apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, and Signal can usually only call other users of the same app — Hadeda Caller reaches the number you actually need. Subscriber rates start from 4.2p/min to SA mobiles. Full rate card available in your Hadeda Mobile account dashboard.
- How does the 20GB Plan compare to similar UK MVNO offers?
- Most UK MVNOs in the £11–£13 range bundle 15–25GB on 12-month or 24-month contracts. The Hadeda 20GB Plan is 30-day rolling with no contract, no exit fee, and unlimited UK calls and texts included.
- Does the plan auto-renew?
- Yes, every 30 days. Cancel any time from your dashboard before the next renewal date and you will not be charged again.
Want more headroom? 50GB Plan is £13.99 (£2 more for 2.5× the data) or Unlimited Plan is £14.99 — no cap at all.
